There’s a reason the phrase a picture is worth a thousand words is an adage that is used in multiple languages, because it’s true. Often times a picture, or a photo can say so much more than text alone. I love writing, I’m a fan of text and words, but to me adding an image to something brings it more to life.
In the world of personal branding, the main aim of getting yourself out there is to gain trust. When I come across a social media account that’s reached out to me to connect or talk and they don’t have a profile image, or any other images of themselves, the trust for me is diminished. I simply don’t know who I’m talking to, or who wants access to my online space. By having a personal brand and sharing great images clearly showing ourselves, we grow trust with our audiences faster.
